The
air fryer can make crispy pork belly. Brush the pork belly with oil, sprinkle with black pepper and salt and marinate for 8 minutes. Then put the pork belly and garlic cloves into the air fryer, 180 degrees and 26 minutes to cook. The working principle of the air fryer is "high-speed air circulation technology", which makes the hot air circulate in the enclosed space and fry the food with the fat of the food itself, so that the food is dehydrated, the surface becomes golden and crispy, and the frying effect is achieved.
Steps to make crispy pork belly in air fryer
1. Clean the pork belly, cut the fat from the skin and cut the lean meat.
2. Put the sliced pork belly into the pot, add cold water that does not cover the pork belly, and boil an appropriate amount of cooking wine. If you are worried that the skin will shrink too much, you can cut it after cooking.
3. Adjust the marinade while the meat is cooking. Put all the marinade ingredients in the recipe into a small bowl.
4. Mix into a fluid paste.
5. Spread the marinade evenly on the pork. It is recommended not to apply it on the skin. If you accidentally apply it, remember to wipe it off with kitchen paper, otherwise the marinade will easily burn and become bitter.
6. Prick the pig skin with a toothpick a few times and brush with white vinegar. White vinegar is the key to crispy skin, don't omit it!
7. Bake in air fryer at 220°C for 30 minutes.
8. After 30 minutes, open the tin foil and brush with white vinegar again. Set the air fryer to 210°C and continue to bake for 10-15 minutes.
9. Put the roasted pork belly on kitchen paper to absorb the grease.
10. Cut and serve.
